Pablo Guardiola

Pablo Guardiola is an artist, curator and co-director of Beta-Local. He has works in sculpture, photography and texts. His work points to different modes of narration and how these are perceived and understood. He has presented his work at Romer Young Gallery, the San Francisco Arts Commission, New Langton Arts, Galería de la Raza in San Francisco, , Present Co. in New York City, El Lobi, Km 0.2, Casa Aboy in San Juan (Puerto Rico), among others. He completed a B.A. in History at the University of Puerto Rico (Río Piedras, San Juan) and an MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute (San Francisco, California). Recently he curated Folding summers at The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art (BICA), Buffalo (New York).
